Elected officials, the New York City Coalition Against Hunger, Xavier Mission staff and FAB members, and volunteers gathered in Hurtado Hall to commemorate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and to kick-off NYCCAH’s thirteenth annual Serve-a-Thon.
On, November 26th, 2013, our own Food Action Board (FAB) members, Christopher Wallace and Tyrone Davies, spoke at the release of the annual hunger survey by the New York City Coalition Against Hunger (NYCCAH).
UEH is a coalition of advocates, homeless and formerly homeless individuals, service providers, faith leaders, and experts on the issue of homelessness in New York City whose mission is to highlight New York City’s homelessness crisis during the 2013 mayoral election.
